At Acorn Buildings, we make sure we source our oak from quality plantations in France, where we know and trust that our oak is of the highest quality. We guarantee that our oak buildings will stand for years to come, so you can rest assured that you are receiving the best quality.

At Acorn Buildings, we source our oak timber from sustainable plantations in France, ensuring that we receive the highest of quality timber to use for our oak framed buildings. It is important to us that we obtain our wood from sustainable sources, as we want to guarantee that what we use, we replant.
By using green oak, it is easier for us to be sustainable as this oak is felled within 18 months, meaning we can replant much quicker and dont have to wait as long for our oak timber. Green oak is also much easier to work with, meaning we can construct your oak buildings to a higher quality and to improved strengths.
We source our wood from a trusted sawmill in France, as we have used this timber for years and know the standard of wood we receive is high.
